Homemade Pizza Dough

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl add yeast and sugar. Pour warm water into bowl and give a quick mix. Let sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

  2. Add oil, salt and flour to bowl and combine ingredients. Gently knead dough until it combines into a smooth ball.

  3. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rest and rise for 1 hour.

  4. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and gently knead dough 1 to 2 times then let rest for 10 minutes.

  5. Use dough to make one large pizza or divide into 4 equal pieces to create individual personal pizzas.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup warm water (temperature between 110 to 120 degrees)

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 packet of fast acting yeast

  • 2 tablespoons oil (any kind)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour or 00 pizza flour
